1. Extract data from operations where your entity has the role of Agent/Lead bank 2. Extract data from operations where your entity has the role of Lender |
Debt Tracking lets you centralise all your operation information in a single interface. Deal details, tranche characteristics, administrative forms, dataroom, covenant control periods and results are all just a click away.
Find out how to export all this information in Excel format, to cover your reporting needs for audits, strategy meetings, business statistics, but also to feed other tools simply, with up-to-date operational data.
1. Extract data from operations where your entity has the role of Agent/Lead bank
In the Desk, use the side navigation bar, choose the Debt Tracking app and go to "Exporting data".
Once on the export templates page, you can:
- Create a new export template
- Manage fields exported from existing templates
Some templates are already set by default, but you can modify them.
If you create a new template, it will be stored on this page for future use.
When creating a new template, you'll see the list of all exportable fields on the left and the list of fields for your future export template on the right.
Find and tick the fields on the left and send them to the right with the central arrow to populate your template.
The “grip” button at the beginning of the line lets you rearrange the fields of your export template by dragging and dropping the field.
Remember to create export templates with data that make sense together.
To help you, you can use “Category” tags that group fields by data family. Some of these are central (project, covenant, etc.), when others are very specific and should only be used with a similar or closely related group (covenant version, margin level, etc.).
Then click on “Launch export” in the top right-hand corner to access a preview of the data format.
Once in the preview page, you can pre-filter the export according to the status of the operation in the platform, or the type of operation.
For even more filters, you can easily reprocess the data in the Excel file you obtain by clicking on “Export all data” in the top right-hand corner!
Data export is limited to 10,000 rows. We recommend selecting only the fields you really need for your reporting, to avoid duplicate lines.
2. Extract data from operations where your entity has the role of Lender
If you have operations in which you have been invited as a lender/participant, you are also able to extract data.
In order to do so, you just have to go to the export page and make sure you click on the "Participant" view.
Then follow the steps described in the first section of this page.
